When it comes to translation, I mark my work career here in Japan as BGF and AGF. For the most part, I would rather not remember the 15-year period Before Green Leaf. For the 10 years After Green Leaf's discovery, I have no problem. Because of Green Leaf these have been some of my most productive and stress-free work years. There are many qualities that I value, ones that are always abundantly evident in the work from Green Leaf: accuracy and appropriateness of the translation; the ability and persistence to not assume but to find the correct answer; the diligence to study new and different technology; the dedication to meet a deadline; and that rare commodity, to turn down a job because of prior commitments. I have no qualms when sending a job to Green Leaf. I know that they will have the translation to me according to our preset schedule, and just as importantly, I do not have to worry about the accuracy or the quality of the translation — they are both always of the highest caliber.
